Xining's Day Three!
As promised here is Day 3.
It was another great day. No issues to report and everything (and I do mean everything) seems to be running as the CEO planned.
Initially we were told we would have around 85 but that number has grown to over 100. I have not received a final number but parents seem to find out about the camp and then show up to get their child registered. Many new faces.
We were even approached by a couple last night in the lobby of our hotel about how to register their daughter.
The afternoon activities yesterday went smoothly as well. All glitches seem to be gone and the class switching between activities is running properly.
Nothing has been mentioned here about the class assistants. These older students are working on the cheap and many of them are doing it free. Lift these special people up because they have a tough job. Sharing Opportunities to them also become available. One in particular needs special lifting for clarity and peace due to many environmental pressures.
For lunch yesterday a small number of us ventured off campus to eat at a newly discovered restaurant called CafeJava. You will see a picture of it as well as other uploaded pictures here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/xining-2010/ The restaurant is owned by a couple from the UK and they know some local Cs here that we have known here.
For dinner we went to our favorite Xining western restaurant Casa Mia. The newbies in the group loved it. The food is excellent (as well as the desserts) and it was a great break from our daily routine.
Well, that is enough for yesterday. It seems that we are getting into a groove so keep lifting so that we do not become complacent. That is when we can lose the true focus and someone can throw darts at us. We want more opportunities for personal sharing.
