Final Day of Camp in Xi'an :(
Dear Friends and Family,
This will be my last blog until I return to the USA. This morning here at school the classes are reviewing lessons, practicing their final performance for this afternoon’s graduation ceremony at 4:00, and then ending with signing of T-shirts and trading of emails. We will rest this afternoon (at least a lot of us will—the spirits are willing but the flesh is definitely weak—and exhausted! The heat is so draining.) Then we will return to school for the ceremony and tearful goodbyes. This is a sad time for both Americans and Chinese. Hard to believe that we are at this point once again this summer.
As I asked before please do remember and lift the “seeds” that have been planted and final conversations with students. Our very last time to see many students will be Saturday morning as we board the bus to leave for the Xi’an airport. We have had many students visit in our rooms so they know where the hotel is—this is very tough to wave “goodbye” to all of them with tearful faces.
Thank you for reading and lifting—we have seen His hand evident and so gracious in many ways.
Love,
Becky
From Kat: He has answered your thoughts regarding my health—thank you!
