Couples, Singles & Families wanted!
We are looking for people who are interested in exploring the unexplored, traveling to far away places off the beaten track and visiting cultures and people groups that may have never met a foreigner. Come and teach English with us for a year in China and we promise an amazingly intense life, more abundant than an ordinary job at home could ever give. Not everyone is called to go, but everyone should struggle with the possibility.

What it's all about:

No one teaches more than 5 classes a day and the classes are 30-40 minutes long

We teach grades k-5 in Shanghai and older students elsewhere

You live on campus, or a van is provided to take you and pick you up from your school if you live and teach in Shanghai

Orientation in Winchester, Virginia in June and then Teaching Orientation in August when you arrive in China

Classes start at the beginning of September and the school year ends in Mid-June, you get a week off in October and May and then at least 4 weeks off for Chinese New Year (end of January beginning of February)

Opportunities to work with Chinese Minorities including Tibetans and Muslims and other unreached groups.

BOOKS FOR CHINA:

All types of books needed for a library outreach project. Novels, cookbooks, mysteries, poetry, history, biographies, autobiographies, anything that is in good condition and clean in content we need them for our English/Chinese library.

If you are interested in collecting and/or donating books please contact Bill at his email for more information. You may also make financial contributions to help rent a space for the library, help buy bookshelves, decorations, chairs, and other needed items to furnish the library.
