China Here We Come

It is hard to believe in nine weeks the first teams leave for China. Everyone should be planning lessons, games, English Corner ideas, and many other activitiies to teach the spoken English language.

Contact your Camp Director with any questions or concerns.

Always remember the key word in the work is FLEXIBILITY

Thank You to Timbrook Library

BTW would like to extend a huge thank you to Timbrook Library, a branch of Campbell County Library system in Central VA, for the donation of children’s books. These books will be taken into China this summer to supply a children’s English library in an English school where BTW is involved in Summer ESL Camps.

Thank you Judy and staff of Timbrook Library.

2010 Teams are being set

The BTW office is in the process of placing people in the individual camps for the summer ESL camps. In the next few weeks we will be sending the camp directors their team list and then the camp director will place their people into individual teaching teams.

Be watching your email in the next few weeks for the team list to be sent to you.

Chinese Students Visit

We have just finished a visit with 11 Chinese students and two sponsors. They were here from Feb. 4 - 15th. The Chinese stayed with host families, and were able to experience many aspects of the American culture.
